Accessible or Not? Location Review

Oh, hello you. Are you here to read about whether Mojacar in Andalucia, Spain is the right destination for your get away? Great, keep reading.
I have been going to Mojacar Playa since I was three or four years old. And I love it!
The whole stretch of the town has a promenade spanning across the length of the seafront, which is highly accessible. Nearly all the beaches are accessed via a paved ramp which takes you onto a decked jetty, finishing halfway onto the beach itself.
Unfortunately, if you cannot take your wheelchair through the sand, there aren’t any beach wheelchairs available.
Food & Drink Recommendations:
15+ years of experience = knowledgeable recommendations for cafes and restaurants!
My go to places are as follows:
~Heladeria Blu Ice Cream & Coffee Shop. I LOVE this cafe run by Adelio. It has fantastic homemade ice creams, gorgeous coffees, refreshing smoothies and juices, and lovely food including waffles/pancakes, paninis/baguettes and cakes. I often wish I could fly to Spain just to relax here! There is a small drop off the path to get to the outdoor seating (well spaced out) and then a few steps up to more seating both inside and out. Waiters are always fantastic and helpful when needed!
~Masko Cafe in the Parque Comercial. Second ‘go-to’ cafe, especially for breakfast. Huge smoothies, great coffees, scrumptious food ranging from traditional english breakfast to pancakes/waffles and croissants. Good for light bite and dinner meals as well. Good range of food to suit everyone including pizzas, burgers, tapas and more. It is all accessible as it is on the ground floor of the outdoor shopping centre. Tables are well spread out and staff will help when needed.
~Imperial. There are two Imperials in Mojacar and both are perfect. Italian food at its best (disregarding Italy of course!), we love having dinners here. As their website claims, they really do have “the best pasta and pizza in Mojacar”! Never had a bad meal at either locations. Highly recommend for a nice meal out with family.
There are many more but, well, I’d need a whole new blog!
Let me know if you want to know more about Mojacar and future locations! Just use the contact form on my website or DM me on Instagram at @cp.travelandphoto.
My next blog, published on the 15th January will be an accommodation review for a hotel in La Plagne, the French Alps.
See you there! ~ Lauren x
