AirBnB Cabin - Llai, Wales Accommodation Accessibility Review (2022)

Accessible or Not? Accommodation Review

Hello lovely reader, welcome back to the blog! Let me tell you about a great little AirBnB I found in Llai, Wales that I stayed at while visiting family.

The location of this AirBnB is lovely; it is an outbuilding at a family home with a lovely garden and residential black Labrador. It is perfect as a cosy stay for one or two people, with all the amenities you would want for a short stay. But I will say it here at the start, it has its downsides which may not be suitable for you.

This home is open plan with a sofa bed, table, oven, fridge and stove. There are bifold doors as the only entrance and exit, which look across the garden area. These have some heavy black out curtains you pull over for privacy during the day and light blocking at night (perfect for light sensitive sleepers like me).

The bathroom is made up of a toilet, sink and shower but there is not a lot of room between these for a wheelchair. The shower is a ‘power shower’ (I think), so you may have to ask the owner how it works - like I did! Or not, I may have been having a blonde moment, who knows!!??

The property is in a quiet residential area on the rural outskirts of Wrexham, around 15 minutes from Chester and 40 minutes from Snowdonia National Park. There are 3 great nature reserves within 5 minutes and Wrexham Football Club is 4 miles away. Welcomes well behaved dogs.

Free secure parking in our gated yard. EV Charging is available subject to additional costs.

I definately recommend this AirBnB if you’re able to manoeuvre in small spaces.

That’s it… small blog today. Small accommodation = small blog!

Next Blog = 26th January = Chester Zoo Accessibility

See you at the next blog!
